Mario Paint out now on Switch, includes mouse controls
Mario Paint is the latest SNES title now available via the Nintendo Switch Online service, letting you draw and create music at home and on the go.
The first main component of Mario Paint is, naturally, is creating art via the colouring book mode. On Switch 2 you can make use of the Joy-Con 2’s mouse mode to draw, while on the original Switch you’ll have to plug in a regular ol’ mouse.
While there are a few other features tied to this (along with a bug squashing minigame), the other fan-favourite component is the music maker. You can take various sounds and place them on a timeline to make weird and wonderful songs. Some of Mario Paint’s original songs have also been added to the Nintendo Music app.
