Mary Skelter 2 on PC gets restoration patch

We recently covered the PC version of Mary Skelter 2, noting that the Purge Corruption minigame had been cut for this version of the game. Now, Ghostlight has released a restoration patch that brings this content back.

According to a tweet by Ghostlight, this patch was in the works prior to Mary Skelter 2’s release, but “needed external permission” before it could be made available.

While we probably wont get more detailed information, this statement does imply that Idea Factory (or potentially Valve) might be the reason behind the minigame being cut in the first place.

Mary Skelter 2 can still be bought at a 15% discount on Steam and GOG, with the sale extended on both storefronts until January 27, 2022.
