Mary Skelter Finale launches October 1 in Europe

Idea Factory International‘s “Online Summer Festival” brought with it a few key announcements, including a release date for Mary Skelter Finale on PS4 and Switch.

Launching October 1 in Europe (September 30 in North America), Mary Skelter Finale features a huge cast of new and returning characters. Despite escaping the living prison known as a Jail, the protagonists finds themselves dealing with a final set of enemies that are hell-bent on destroying humanity.

Idea Factory International also announced that Mary Skelter Finale will include Mary Skelter: Locked Up in Love, a romantic spin-off title that was originally included with Mary Skelter 2. However, there was no mention of Locked Up in Love’s sequel (which comes with Finale in Japan) being localised.

Pre-orders for the Limited Edition start on September 1 — the contents can be viewed on the NA IFI store, though there isn’t a page for the European release just yet.

It’s still odd to see Mary Skelter Finale coming to PS4. The previous game was caught up in Sony’s sudden rule changes, leading to a hasty patch in some regions to change certain scenes — and no PS4 release at all in the west.
