Melty Blood: Type Lumina adds PC version, launches September 30
Type-Moon has revealed that Melty Blood: Type Lumina will launch worldwide on September 30, 2021. In addition to the previously announced PS4, Xbox One, and Switch versions, it will now also release on PC via Steam.
With this release date comes a few more character reveals. Twin maids Hisui and Kohaku will be joining the game’s roster, bringing the total number of characters announced to six.
A few details have also been shared for the digital versions of Melty Blood: Type Lumina. The standard digital edition will be priced at $49.99/49.99€, while the Deluxe Edition is a bit more expensive at $69.99/69.99€. Deluxe Edition copies come with the “Melty Blood Archives”, a collection of art and music from the franchise. Early purchases of the game will also come with the Arcueid round announcements content, which will be paid DLC after October 27.
Melty Blood is another odd series in the west — like Fate/Stay Night, an official English localisation of Tsukihime (the game Melty Blood is based on) has never been released. Ideally, we’d get an English release for the upcoming Tsukihime remake, though it seems unlikely at this point.
