The Men of Yoshiwara: Kikuya Now on Switch with English Subtitles
If you’re looking for an otome visual novel on Switch, The Men of Yoshiwara: Kikuya has you covered! Kind of. It released on Switch today in Japan and includes English as well as Japanese and Chinese language option, however, you’ll still need a Japanese Nintendo account to buy it. Take a look at the game’s opening below:
For those who are confident enough to wrangle the Japanese Nintendo eShop, the game’s there and available to play in English for only ¥1,980 (around £13). For those who aren’t, well, a western release is reportedly on the way. There’s no indication as to when just yet, but hopefully it’ll be soon! It looks like a very pretty game, with an interesting theme and lovely character designs!
It’s wonderful to see some otome come to Switch! While the routes were sold individually on mobile, this version of The Men of Yoshiwara: Kikuya includes all six too, so that’s always a plus.
The Men of Yoshiwara: Kikuya is available now on Nintendo Switch, as well as on Android and iOS devices and Steam.
