Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater releasing late August, Collector’s Pack revealed

It’s been a while since the initial reveal, but Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater finally has a release date.

Releasing August 28, 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam, Metal Gear Solid Delta takes the third MGS game and gives it a massive visual overhaul.

Despite the jump in visual fidelity, the actual content of the game is said to not differ mutch from the original Snake Eater. This means that there shouldn’t be any new story content that might make the already wild Metal Gear Solid timeline any weirder.

Alongside the release date, Konami have also announced a few different digital and physical editions. The digital and physical Deluxe Editions come with a number of uniforms, face paint, and equipment (plus 2 days early access), with the latter also including physical goodies like a SteelBook case and keyring.

In addition, there’s an extra-expensive Collector’s Pack. Despite the price (£299.99) this does not include the game, instead bundling together a 1/4 statue bust of Snake and a vinyl soundtrack. Unfortunately, this bundle is only available via GAME in the UK, with retailers varying per region.
