The renowned Samurai Guitarist, Miyavi, returns to London to kickstart new world tour: “We are the Others.” Brace yourselves! Miyavi is back and his new concert is guaranteed to rock. His consistent energy and complex slap bass rhythms drive loyal fans wild, delivering time and time again the adrenaline you find from a roller-coaster. It’s a concert not to be missed, and at the time of writing, tickets are still on sale.
For those who may not know, Miyavi is a daring guitarist and songwriter who isn’t afraid to constantly change his style. He began his career with nothing, but managed to charm the manager of PS Company, a Visual Kei record label. After an enormous amount of success, Miyavi graciously left the label and created his own, keen for further musical freedom. Over many successful years Miyavi has explored several different genres including Visual Kei, Heavy Rock, Rap, Grunge and Acoustic to name a few, that often fans recite his music genre as simply ‘Miyavi’. Finally the musician has also sung in both Japanese or English, but unfortunately is not known for his pronunciation skills!
Miyavi has released several PVs that can be found on his official Youtube account. We’ve selected a couple of our favourites for your listening pleasure. Do tell us what you think! Will you be going to see Miyavi? What are your favourite J-Rock guitarists?
The concert will take place on 27th September, at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London.
