In another surprise announcement by Bandai Namco, the company revealed that a remaster of PS Vita action RPG Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Battle Destiny is on the way.

Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Battle Destiny Remastered brings the game west over a decade since its Japan-only release on Sony’s ill-fated handheld. The original game allowed you to pilot over 100 Mobile Suits, taking on missions for various factions as you played through events of the anime.

This remaster carries over all content, now with improved visuals and a reworked UI for the Switch to HD consoles and PC. Most importantly for us, it’ll also be the first time Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Battle Destiny is available in English.

Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Battle Destiny Remastered launches May 22, 2025 for Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Steam pre-orders are already open, though Switch owners will have to wait closer until launch.
