Next Monster Hunter digital event set for April 27

Capcom has announced a new Monster Hunter digital event, which will take place on April 27 at 3PM BST.

As with the previous event, this one will also cover both Monster Hunter Rise and Monster Hunter Stories 2.

For Monster Hunter Rise, we should be getting a release date for the first major update, plus info on all the new monsters being added. We already know that Chameleos will be returning, with the game’s release trailer also showing off Apex Rathalos. There are still at least two more monsters to be revealed, releasing alongside the unlocked hunter rank cap.

Capcom will also share more about the upcoming RPG spin-off Monster Hunter Stories 2. Hopefully this means there’ll be a good amount of in-game footage, since most gameplay so far has been relegated to short trailers.
