Monster Hunter Rise digital event set for January 7

Capcom have announced that Monster Hunter Rise will be getting its own digital event in a few days time.

Planned for January 7 at 2pm GMT, the event will bring more details on the upcoming demo. According to a trailer shown during The Game Awards last year, it’ll be released some time this month.

Tune in for details on the Monster Hunter Rise demo and a fresh new trailer!

A new trailer is also going to be revealed during the digital event. While we’ve seen a good amount of footage from Monster Hunter Rise, including gameplay clips of every weapon type, there’s still a lot left to show. Expect a few more monsters to be revealed at the very least, if not a new area.

Monster Hunter Rise launches for Switch worldwide on March 26, 2021. As with World, Capcom are planning to support the game through free content updates after launch, so you’ll have plenty of hunting to do throughout the year.
