Monster Hunter Rise Sonic collab starts November 26

Monster Hunter Rise is taking a break from Capcom-themed crossover content, instead moving to Sega’s Sonic the Hedgehog franchise for its next event.

Arriving on November 26, the Sonic the Hedgehog collaboration will feature two quests, letting you collect rings and hunt monsters to some of Sonic’s classic songs.

The main rewards from this event are sets of layered armour for hunters, palamutes, and palicos. The hunter and palico layered armour is Sonic-themed, while palamutes get to look like Tails.

At the time of writing, Capcom has no more content listed for 2021 in Rise’s roadmap. The PC version is only a few months away though, so events should start up again soon.

A major expansion will also release next summer in the form of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. This will launch at the same time on both Switch and PC, unlike the base game.
