Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection announced for 2026
Capcom has announced Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, the latest entry in its RPG spin-off series.
Coming 2026 for Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam, Monster Hunter Stories 3 once again features Rathalos as a key monster in the game’s story. This time it’s a pair of twin Rathalos, both featuring markings that link back to a civil war that took place in the lands of Azuria and Vermeil 200 years ago.
While no gameplay was shown during the reveal trailer, it did give us a look at some changes that will present when compared to previous entries. Character models are closer to the regular sizes seen in the mainline Monster Hunter games (though still using cell shading), with the main protagonist talking more than usual.
With 2026 still a while off, expect Capcom to drip feed more news on Monster Hunter Stories 3 over the coming months and beyond — there’s a high chance it’ll next make an appearance during one of Capcom’s Spotlight streams.
