Monster Hunter Wilds surpasses 8 million units sold just 3 days after launch

Monster Hunter Wilds has only been out for a few days, but it’s already on track to be one of Capcom’s highest selling games of all time.

Monster Hunter Wilds has already surpassed 8 million units sold across PC, Xbox Series, and PS5, and this number is only going to get crazier over the coming year.

Not only is this the fastest Capcom game to reach this milestone, but it’s already almost in the top 10 best selling games for the company — there’s a chance it might have already broken into the top 10, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak currently sitting at 9.4 million.

Despite some performance issues (especially on PC), it’s clear that the Monster Hunter train is showing no signs of stopping. More updates are planned during 2025 and beyond, with an expansion likely for 2026.
