Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 2 arrives next week

The latest Capcom Spotlight stream finally announced when Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 2 would bring another fan favourite monster in to the game, and this update is only a few days away.

Arriving 30 June 2025, Title Update 2 will add both Monster Hunter Tri’s flagship monster Lagiacrus, and the razor-sharp Seregios. While underwater combat wont be making a return, you’ll be able to perform some unique aquatic manoeuvres while fighting Lagiacrus.

Following Title Update 2 is the Festival of Accord: Flamefete which runs from 23 July to 6 August, with Arch-tempered Uth Duna available midway through on 30 July. A special Event Quest to celebrate Monster Hunter collaborating with guitar brand Fender also runs from 27 August to September 24, featuring an emote based on the physical guitar that went up for pre-order earlier this year.

While no details were given on the contents of Title Update 3, it now has a late September release window. It promises to add another monster, with the Festival of Accord coming back once again.
