Musou Stars Crosses Over Atelier, Ninja Gaiden, & More
Koei Tecmo and Omega Force are taking the concept of Warriors Orochi even further with the newly announced at TGS Musou Stars! Now characters from all walks of #KTfam are teaming up to take on hordes of enemies, from Ninja Gaiden‘s Ryu Hayabusa, to Sophie from Atelier Sophie. And yes they are my OTP.
The teaser trailer for Musou Stars above (announced at TGS 2016) gives us a quick look at some of the exciting crossovers that are going on. In addition to Ninja Gaiden and Atelier the trailer also shows Toukiden will also be represented. An end shot showcases more characters, including those from Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors, but also Kasumi from Dead or Alive and Hajima Arima from the sixth Haruka game.
More characters appear to be silhouetted so hopefully there will be many more announcements to come. Which other Koei Tecmo series would you like to see represented in Musou Stars? I’d love to see Nioh, Nights of Azure, and Ar Nosurge make the cut for sure!
Musou Stars will release for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in 2017 in Japan. No news yet for a western release but with how well Koei Tecmo seem to be doing over here lately you’d hope so!
