Netflix’s live-action Cowboy Bebop arrives this November
The first photos for Netflix’s live-action Cowboy Bebop series have been shared, ahead of its release on the streaming service November 19, 2021.
This is our first look at Spike Spiegel (John Cho), Jet Black (Mustafa Shakir), and Faye Valentine (Daniella Pineda) in their live-action forms. There’s still no info on who’ll be playing the rest of the main cast, though more teasers are sure to follow in the coming months.
It was also confirmed earlier this year that Yoko Kanno, composer for the original Cowboy Bebop anime, will also be handling the soundtrack for this adaption.
Despite Netflix’s somewhat rocky history with its live action anime adaptions, these first teaser images look quite faithful to the source material. Of course, the final product could be a disappointment, but it has the potential to be a success.
