New Granblue Fantasy Versus gameplay details
Granblue fantasy versus gameplay details emerged this morning when game director Tetsuya Fukuhara updated the official website’s blog. Granblue Fantasy Versus, just in case you missed the memo, is an all new 2D fighter based in the Granblue universe.
Now normally, this wouldn’t be particularly special were it not for the fact that it’s being made by Arc System Works – they of Dragonball Fighter Z, Guilty Gear and BlazBlue fame.
In his blog Tetuya Fukuhara updated some tit bits on Grandblue Fantasy Versus gameplay – or rather what’s being discussed at concept stage. The main protagonist will be very easy to use, apparently – though they are also looking to make sure the roster is fleshed out with the usual grapplers and more mobile faster-hitting characters.
They are also planning to announce more characters when Granblue Fantasy reaches its 5th (fifth!) birthday in March of this year.
Currently, it’s looking very much like Granblue Fantasy Versus will be taking a more… easy to play approach. Potentially more-so than Dragonball Fighter Z. Not sure if it’s just me, but when I see footage it’s giving me oddly, Battle Fantasia vibes… or maybe it’s just me…
