Arc System Works shares new Guilty Gear Strive gameplay ahead of open beta

Developer Arc System Works has started releasing new gameplay videos for Guilty Gear Strive via its YouTube channel, letting players learn some of the game’s match-ups before trying out the open beta later this month.

For pure gameplay, there are three videos available: Sol vs Nagoriyuki, Ky vs Giovanna, and Axl vs Ramlethal. It’s a mix of new faces and old favourites, though even returning characters play differently to their previous incarnations.

The character starter guides have also made their return, starting with Millia Rage. Videos can also be found for the previous beta’s cast, and the remaining open beta character guides should be available soon.

Guilty Gear Strive’s open beta starts February 19, with the full game releasing for PS4, PS5, and PC via Steam on April 9, 2021.
