New Nintendo Indie World showcase coming tomorrow
This year has been fairly light on Nintendo Directs, with the company opting to go with smaller presentations and game specific videos instead. It looks like this isn’t changing just yet, as another Indie World showcase has been announced for August 18th.
Starting at 5PM BST, the showcase should give us a look at some upcoming indie games for the Switch. If it’s anything like the last Indie World back in Match, 10 or so titles will be shown off, including previously announced games and completely new releases. That presentation also had the surprise announcement of Exit the Gungeon, so hopefully there’s another unexpected reveal this time as well.
You can watch the Indie World showcase on Nintendo’s YouTube channel once it’s available tomorrow. I’m personally looking forward to it, as a good chunk of the games I play on the Switch are indie titles.
