New ships come to Azur Lane: Crosswave on October 5
Idea Factory International has announced a new wave of DLC for the Western versions of Azur Lane: Crosswave, including five new playable characters.
For those that are unaware, Azur Lane: Crosswave is a spin-off of a popular Chinese mobile game that features many collectible characters based on real-life warships. With Azur Lane’s large roster, it’s no surprise that even more characters would make their way to Crosswave eventually.
Each piece of DLC will unlock a single playable character and their respective story, along with three new support ships. These playable characters are: Taihou, Formidable, Roon, Le Malin, and Sirius.
All five DLC packs can be bought on PSN and Steam separately, or as a bundle for 15% off, once they release October 5.
A description of the Formidable DLC via Idea Factory International:
Story:
Although abundant in her elegance, Formidable’s days do not possess a similar grace. In fact, they seem quite boring lately.
One day, she joined Queen Elizabeth and they headed towards…
a cruise ship in the distance.
There, she reunited with Zara from the Sardegna Empire, but their joy was soon interrupted by an unusual occurrence…
The boat began to move on its own! Why did the boat start moving? Where is it going?
Will Formidable and the others be able to solve this strange and exciting mystery?
The Formidable DLC unlocks the following:
Main Ship (Playable):
- Formidable
Support Ships:
- Warspite
- HMS Neptune
- Zara
Story Mode:
- Formidable – Additional Story Mode Content
