Next Nintendo Indie World showcase announced for August
Nintendo may have restarted regular directs during 2021, but that doesn’t mean its smaller presentations are stopping. In fact, the next Indie World showcase is only a day away, arriving on August 11 at 5PM BST.
As is usually the case, there’s very little info available — all that’s mentioned in the announcement is that it’ll be roughly 20 minutes long.
Of course, there should be a number of new announcements for upcoming indie games, along with a few titles releasing on the same day.
The main game most people are hoping to see during Indie World (based on the replies to Nintendo’s tweet at least) is Hollow Knight: Silksong, which was originally revealed back in 2019. It might happen, though fans could potentially have to wait a few more years before its release.
