Nintendo Switch Revealed and Releasing March 2017!
It’s finally happened after months upon months of waiting – we’ve seen the Nintendo Switch revealed! A brief trailer with little information is all it took for the internet to be set ablaze as Nintendo face the launch of their most important system yet.
Despite also being on Wii U, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is one of the Switch’s most important titles and Nintendo know it has the power to sell new systems regardless of if it’s available on a previous console. Zelda coming to Switch isn’t a surprise though, and fortunately it wasn’t the focus of the presentation. Other games have been teased including 3D Mario, Mario Kart, a new Splatoon, sports games and Skyrim Remastered – yay, third-party support!
As the leaks revealed, the Switch can be played on a big screen or on the go and it looks fantastic on both, and you can play with the controllers that attach on the side or via a new controller being made exclusively for the Switch. Take a look at the beauty below.
So, we don’t have to call it NX anymore. I was apprehensive at all the leaks but the final product looks really cool and I’m sold. I’m digging the design, the games visuals look great and Nintendo finally seem to have caught up with what gamers want and I’m happy to say that so far, they’ve delivered. Nintendo Switch will be releasing March 2017.
