NIS America Announce New Titles at Anime Expo 2017

You know when NIS America announce new titles to release that you’re in for something good, and this time they’re bringing over the sequel to one of the best first-person dungeon-crawlers, Demon Gaze, to the West! They’re showing the Switch a bit more love too.

So yeah, NIS America have announced that Demon Gaze 2 will be releasing on PS4 and Vita later this Winter. The sequel, set a few years after the events of the first game, will feature a few familiar faces but otherwise follows new “Demon Gazer” Sigma. Sigma is an orphan who traded his memories in exchange for the Demon Gazer abilities, likely in an attempt to forge a better life for himself. He will be joined on his adventure by his sister Prim, and his childhood friend Muse.

The Longest Five Minutes will be releasing on Switch alongside its planned Vita and PC release, and its set to release early next year. When the hero is in his final encounter with the evil Overlord, he suddenly loses his memories about his journey, his friends and his past. As he fights, the words of his allies bring his memories back to him, and he’s able to continue the battle. It is a RPG visual novel-hybrid, and it sounds like it’ll be perfect for Switch.

Lastly, the Penny-Punching Princess will be releasing next March on Vita and Switch. You play as a princess robbed of her royal heritage, and now she fights to earn money and to bribe enemies to fight for her. Join Princess as she amasses a fortune so that she can fight the Dragoloan family and win back her kingdom.

Not some bad announcements from NIS America there, and some good third-party Switch support! NIS America have always supported the Vita well too, and that’s seemingly not slowing down just yet. I’m pretty happy with these announcements. How about you?

Spread the love!
