No new info on Tales of Arise to be shared until 2021

Revealed during Microsoft‘s Xbox conference during E3 (RIP) 2019, there hasn’t been much news on Bandai Namco‘s Tales of Arise since then. And now, it’s been revealed that we’ll have to wait a little longer for any new info on the latest Tales game.

This news was shared at the beginning of the series’ 25th Anniversary stream by Tales Producer Yusuke Tomizawa.

An excerpt from Tomizawa’s statement (thanks to Gematsu for the translation):

To the extent that we were quiet in 2020, we are making preparations to share all sorts of new information in 2021. Development is going very well, so I hope you can hold out a little longer for new information.

Tales of Arise was originally planned to release in 2020, but Tomizawa stated earlier in the year that his team needed ‘more time to achieve the quality and provide the gorgeous experience [they] envision for [their] players’.
