Octopath Traveler Sales in the UK are Incredibly Good

The UK charts for physical games has been released and Octopath Traveler sales are very impressive as it debuts at a solid third place. It’s only beaten by LEGO The Incredibles and Crash Bandicoot: N.Sane Trilogy (once again), but this is an incredible feat for a retro-style JRPG that’s exclusive to one platform.

Octopath Traveler has almost doubled the sales of the developer’s 3DS-exclusive game Bravely Default, and it’s more than doubled the sales of sequel Bravely Second. Sadly, Shining Resonance Refrain has only landed in at 27 and, as it’s the first release in the West for a decade, this does not bode too well for the series going forward.
