Octopath Traveller coming to Xbox later this month
Todays lineup of upcoming Xbox Game Pass titles included the a surprise reveal for Octopath Traveller on Xbox.
Having initially released as a console exclusive on Nintendo Switch, before coming to PC a year later (the latter version will also be part of Xbox Game Pass), this Xbox release had not been announced by developer Square Enix beforehand.
Presumably, it’ll be available on both Xbox One and Xbox Series S|X when it’s added to Game Pass on March 25. Whether the game will also appear on PS4 or PS5 too is currently unknown, though this announcement does confirm that Octopath Traveller is no longer a console exclusive — unless you already counted Google Stadia as a console.

Other Game Pass highlights include the PC version of Nier: Automata on March 18, and the release of Yakuza 6: The Song of Life on both Xbox and PC.
