One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows Has An Extensive Hero Creator
When I got to play One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows, I was looking forward to fighting as the classic characters from the show, what I didn’t expect was to be met with a character creator that has an incredible amount of options when it comes to costume design, body type and more.
One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows Hero Creator:
As you can see above, there’s a range of costumes to choose from to start with, and plenty to unlock later on. A lot of the base costumes are that of the heroes already in the game, but you can mix and match to create something unique. You can also customise the colour of everything to make it really stand apart too.
The highlight would probably be the accessories, however. The best bit is that the game doesn’t lock you to using accessories in the traditional manner, for example you can attach wings to your back, your legs, or your head, it’s your choice. You could also strap a backpack to your head if that’s the look you’re trying to go for in 2020.
Your custom character is used throughout the story mode and you can use them in fights of course, but they’re also your vessel for exploring the hub-world, where you’ll be connected with other players. It’s a great way to make the world feel more alive, and vibrant, as it’ll be pretty hard for people to make exactly matching heroes.
We also got to interview producer Yashiro Yahata about the game, and how long it took them to come up with the Saitama mechanic.
