Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines journeys forth to EU and NA on Vita soon
JRPG Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines is the next Vita game to make its way to EU and NA, after a gruelling wait where Sony may have decided to not localise it at all.
The games original Japanese name, Ore no Shikabane wo Koete Yuke, translates to ‘Go Forth Over My Dead Body’, which clearly has the makings of a happy game.
Although there’s no trailer yet, they have released screenshots where one of which can be seen below.
Oreshika sees you take charge of an ancient Japanese clan who have been cursed with a lifespan of 2 years, where they set out on a journey to lift this curse by enlisting the help of Gods inspired by Japanese myths, ensuring that the next generation is more powerful than the last. This means you might play as multiple generations and characters, or you’ll lift the curse and live on happily.
Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines is due to release later this year on Vita, and developer SCE Japan Studio hope to reveal more information on it shortly.
