Picross S Mega Drive and Master System Edition releasing this week on Switch

Even more Picross is coming to the Switch with the release of Picross S Mega Drive & Master System Edition on August 5, priced at £8.99/$9.99.

Known as Picross S Genesis & Master System edition in North America, and Picross S Mega Drive & Mark III Edition in Japan (definitely not confusing at all), this latest collection of 480 puzzles features characters from 59 games across Sega’s two old-school consoles.

There’s representation for multiple Sonic, Phantasy Star, and Streets of Rage titles, and those that are familiar with the Mega Drive and Master System should have an easy time recognising the rest — aside from a couple of more obscure titles, that is.

Picross S Mega Drive & Master System Edition will be the seventh Picross S title on the Switch, though there are a few anime spin-off titles as well. All of these (barring Picross S6) are currently on sale via the eShop until August 18, if you’re after a non-Sega Picross experience.
