A new Pokémon Legends: Arceus trailer has been released, showing off more of the game’s world and characters, plus an entirely new Pokémon.

The trailer starts by revealing Hisui’s wardens, people that look after the region’s noble Pokémon. Noble Pokémon are more powerful than regular monsters, with some said to help out people within the region.

One of these nobles is Kleavor, a new addition to the series with giant axe-like arms. You’ll encounter a frenzied Kleavor during your adventures, which much be pacified using both items and your Pokémon.

Some of Jubilife Village’s facilities were also shown in the trailer. You’ll be able to customise your character with varying hairstyles and outfits, store Pokémon in the pastures, and pick up new crafting recipes and materials.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus is shaping up nicely ahead of its January 28, 2022 release date. It’s hard to grasp just how different the overall game will be compared to traditional Pokémon titles, but it should at least offer something new for the franchise.
