Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX Gets Two New Trailers
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX was announced back in the Pokemon Direct alongside the Sword and Shield expansion pass, and the games aren’t too far away from release. We’re starting to see more and more of these remakes of the classic games, and today we get two new trailers.
The new games are remakes of the 2006 Team Red and Team Blue versions of Pokemeon Mystery Dungeon and they’re releasing next month, March 6. This will be the first time the Mystery Dungeon series appears on Nintendo Switch, and we’re excited to try it. With the hype building, we’ve got two new trailers today. One is a general trailer showcasing the adventure, and the other focuses on the Makuhita Dojo.
Catch the trailers:
As you can see, plenty of Pokemon are featured in the game – and you can be allocated one of 16 Pokemon to be your avatar throughout the adventure. You’ll get to chat with the residents of Pokemon Square, including a real asshat of a Gengar – and of course explore various randomly generated dungeons with your partner Pokemon. Some dungeons will culminate in battles against legendary Pokemon.
The second trailer gives an emotional backstory to the Makuhita and their dojo, which you’ll be able to use in game to get stronger.
