This Pokemon sleeping bag lets you become a Metapod

Perhaps not anybody’s first answer to the question “What Pokemon would you like to be?”, the cocoon-like Metapod is nonetheless the ideal choice for a Pokemon-themed sleeping bag.

Bandai has just created one, and pre-orders are available in Japan now, ahead of the item’s April 2021 launch. If you want to become a motionless bug Pokemon, it’ll set you back ¥35,000 (£253). Bear in mind that that’s before you factor the cost of shipping from Japan – so actually it’ll probably be a fair bit more than that.

Pretty pricey, but what will money matter once you’re sitting back in your soft, green carapace, dreaming of becoming a beautiful Butterfree?

I don’t have much more to say about this, other than the fact that the promo pics put a smile on my face and are definitely worth seeing for yourself.
