Post-Apocalyptic Tokyo Looks Stunning In These Illustrations
With the Last of Us Part 2 on the way, it makes sense that people are looking for art to mirror the beauty that the game, and the setting in general can produce. This post-apocalyptic Tokyo art captures just that.
The art is done by Japanese illustrator Tokyo Genso, who generally works on backgrounds for games and anime. As with most artists though, they don’t stop at work. In their spare time, they’ve been creating some striking art that depicts famous Tokyo spots in a post-apocalyptic setting.
I think the best pieces here are the ones in which the vibrant plant life has started to reclaim the land, it’s a great contrast that Tokyo Genso has nailed in their art.
Without further ado…
