PQube celebrates its 15th anniversary with deep discounts on Steam
Our friends over at PQube are running a new Steam sale to celebrate another big milestone — their 15th anniversary as a publisher!
The PQube 15th Anniversary Sale is available now on Steam, and runs until September 26, 2024. The sales lineup includes new releases like Celestia and NanoApostle, along with fan favourites such as Gal*Gun and Tormented Souls.
With that in mind, here are a few of our own picks for games you should check out during the PQube 15th Anniversary Sale.
Bustafellows — 85% off (£5.24)
If you’re after your next otome fix, then look no further than Bustafellows. You play as Teuta, a young freelance journalist trying to make ends meet in New Sieg, an American city heavily based on real-world New York.
As you’d expect, things don’t exactly stay normal for long. She discovers that she has the ability to leap into the past, though only for a short period. This ability also causes her to inhabit the bodies of others during said time travel.
Witnessing the murder of a crooked lawyer, Teuta attempts to use her power to save them. This gets her get entangled with yet more shady figures along the way, as she attempts to save the lawyer and learn more about New Sieg’s mysteries.
If you’re intrigued, Bustafellows has a free demo on Steam that covers the first part of the game. And if you do pick up and enjoy it, Bustafellows Season 2 already has a confirmed western release for 2025!
Gal*Gun Series — 67-95% off
There’s not one, but three Gal*Gun games available during the PQube 15th Anniversary Sale! Bringing rail-shooter gameplay with an ecchi twist, there’s nothing quite like Gal*Gun out there.
Fend off demon-possessed girls with your Pheromone Shot gadget, stopping them from confessing their love to you. Who knows, if you manage to stay safe then maybe you’ll be able to confess to your true love instead.
Gal*Gun: Double Peace and Gal*Gun 2 are available for a hefty 85% discount, with Gal*Gun Returns — a reimagining of the very Gal*Gun title — at 67% off.
KonoSuba – God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! Love For These Clothes Of Desire! — 25% off (£33.74)
With an OVA for Season 3 of the KonoSuba anime on the way, now is the perfect time to get some more of this crazy series in your life.
The (definitely not excessively) titled KonoSuba – God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! Love For These Clothes Of Desire! sees Kazuma and the gang embroiled in yet another mess. This time, their discovery of a mysterious “Black Slab” has started giving the girls different personalities.
Darkness dropping her M ways and becoming a dominatrix, Aqua becoming… useful?! To fix this strange mess, Kazuma needs to create new outfits that match these new desires and save his friends.
Check out KonoSuba – God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! Love For These Clothes Of Desire! here!
Punch Line — 95% off (£2.24)
From the mind of Kotaro Uchikoshi (Zero Escape, AI: The Somnium Files) Punch Line is an adaption of the 2015 anime by the same name. You play as Yuta Iridatsu, a boy who finds himself split from his body. As a ghost, he must use his poltergeist abilities to find a way back to his body, while also… stopping the Earth from exploding?!
You see, Yuta has an extra predicament on top of the whole “having no body” thing. If he sees girl’s underwear twice in quick succession, the world will explode! As a game, you get a better look at Yuta’s apartment complex, along with the rooms of each girl that inhabits it. There’s even some extra story content, with a completely different ending from the original anime!
Tormented Souls – 80% off (£3.39)
Classic horror might not be a big focus for AAA publishers nowadays, but it’s still going strong in the indie scene. Tormented Souls takes you back to the years of classic Resident Evil, offering fixed camera angles, item management, and plenty of puzzles to cut your teeth on.
Waking up in a bathtub, hooked to strange medical equipment and with nothing on her person, protagonist Caroline Walker must make her way through an abandoned mansion to discover just what is going on.
The mansion is filled with unknown horrors that want to stop Caroline from finding out the truth, with the mansion even hiding entrances to another dimension. It’ll take everything she has to push through each dilapidated room and creature she comes across — just make sure not to run out of resources along the way.
Check out Tormented Souls here!
And that’s a look at just some of the games included in the PQube 15th Anniversary Sale! Make sure to check out the full list on Steam, and pick up anything that interests you before the sale ends on September 26.
