Project Century gets official title Stranger Than Heaven

Originally announced during The Game Awards 2024, Project Century now has an official title: Stranger Than Heaven.

This name came alongside a brand new trailer, showcasing what appears to be Sotenbori (or Dotonbori if RGG is using the real area names this time) during 1943. While not confirmed, the older protagonist shown in this trailer might also be the same one from the previous trailer — the first trailer took place in 1915, while this new one is in 1943.

While most of the trailer featured more stylish cutscenes and violence, it did give a brief look at some sort of choice mechanic, where the protagonist chooses to show no mercy on an opponent.

A split second before the title reveal, there are a brief few frames showing both 1915 and 1943, along with the year 1929 which hasn’t appeared in either trailer yet. With the working title of Project Century, it certainly sounds like Stranger Than Heaven’s story is set to span across multiple years.
