Re:Zero The Prophecy of the Throne UK physical release delayed due to Brexit, Covid
Re:Zero fans in the UK that were waiting for the physical release of Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World- The Prophecy of the Throne will have to wait a few weeks longer.
Having initially been planned to release alongside the digital version on February 5, Spike Chunsoft and Numskull Games have announced that it’ll now be arriving physically on February 19.
And the reason for this delay? Well, it’s the same thing that’s been causing issues for other physical releases in the UK and Europe this year: Brexit (well, that and COVID lockdowns). It has already affected some Idea Factory International and NISA Europe collector’s editions, and now it’s getting in the way of The Prophecy of the Throne.
EU copies wont be seeing any delays though, and there’s always the digital version to fall back on if you’re in the UK and don’t want to wait. PC players meanwhile can pick up The Prophecy of the Throne via Steam, since it already released worldwide in conjunction with the Japanese console version.
