RGG Studio reveals new IP Project Century

RGG Studio, most known for its titular Like a Dragon franchise, revealed a new IP during The Game Awards 2024 in the form of Project Century.

Most likely a working title, Project Century is set in 1915s Japan. We have a (currently unnamed) protagonist getting into a lot of brawls, which eventually devolves into more deadly fights with the use of multiple weapons.

It definitely has that Like a Dragon feel, but now with a big leap in visuals — the streets are even more cluttered and detailed, with one scene set during heavy rain.

With the reveal having no release window or platforms, it’ll likely be a while before we get more concrete details Project Century. However, it’s not like RGG Studio fans have long to wait for their next title. Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is set to launch late February, having been brought forward slightly to avoid a certain monster hunting title.
