Rune Factory 4 Special comes to PS4, Xbox One, and PC next month

Marvelous Europe and XSEED Games have announced that the PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam versions of Rune Factory 4 Special will launch on December 7, 2021 in the west.

Rune Factory 4 Special is a slightly updates version of the 3DS original, updating the visuals and adding in some post-game story episodes. It’s not much for those that have already played the first release, though new players will have lots of content to get through.

Rune Factory 4 Special is currently available on Switch, with Rune Factory 5 also launching for the system on March 25, 2022. No other versions of Rune Factory 5 have been announced just yet, though it seems quite likely considering the other recent Story of Seasons ports.
