Samurai Shodown adding Guilty Gear’s Baiken

Despite not being in the latest entry of Guilty Gear, the one-eyed samurai Baiken is joining Samurai Shodown on August 19, 2021.

The news comes via a leaked trailer — the official reveal is planned for today according to SNK, though it’ll probably be early morning for those of us in Europe.

Of course, the silhouette teaser image already made it obvious who would be added, with Baiken being the most likely choice for a crossover DLC character from the start.

Because this news leaked early, there’s always the chance that some of what is shown (including the release date) could be different from the official reveal.

This is the final DLC for Season Pass 3, and the fourth crossover character in Samurai Shodown. There’s currently no info on a potential Season Pass 4, or any future DLC.
