Scarlet Nexus launches June 25, anime series announced

Bandai Namco has announced that its action RPG Scarlet Nexus will be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on June 25 2021.

It’ll be available in both Standard (physical and digital), Deluxe (digital only), and Guardians editions. Pre-orders also come with a handful of cosmetic items.

The Deluxe Edition comes with even more cosmetics, plus a digital soundtrack and art book. Meanwhile the Guardians Edition — exclusive to the Bandai Namco Europe store — features everything from the Deluxe Edition, plus a hardcover version of the art book, an OSF Sticker, a steel book, and 3 art prints.

An anime series for Scarlet Nexus is also in production alongside the game, being handled by Sunrise — you probably know it as the studio behind multiple Gundam series, Code Geass, and Cowboy Bebop.

It’s set to release this summer, though not much has been shown so far. There’s a teaser site at least, featuring a short reveal trailer, along with a story introduction and character bios.
