Second Monster Hunter Wilds open beta now available
Capcom has started a second Monster Hunter Wilds open beta test ahead of the game’s launch later this month.
This second beta test for Monster Hunter Wilds will run until February 9, 2025 with a third and final test running February 13-16. It’s available on all launch platforms — PS5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.

Everything from the first beta is still available, including character creation, the game’s opening, and a hunt against Doshaguma. Now, you’ll also be able to fight against flagship monster Arkveld, try out the training area, and setup private lobbies for you and your friends.
Character and Palico creation data can be transferred to the full release, with participation in the beta giving you a few extra items at launch (including a cute Felyne charm!)
Monster Hunter Wilds launches on February 28, 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.
