Sekai Project Announces Creature Romances: ~for the Ladies~ & Kokonoe Kokoro♥

Sekai Project has announced a new otome game called Creature Romances: ~for the Ladies~. The game is from nostalgia, a development studio that English fans may be unfamiliar with. The game features monstrous, insect-like bachelors that the player can romance. Little is known about the game at this point, however Sekai Project has said more information will follow in the coming months.

An original mystery horror love story!

An otome game where you capture the hearts of creatures!

Ordinary youth.
Ordinary love.

Which boy will you choose?

The game mirrors nostalgia’s other visual novel, Creature Romances: Kokonoe Kokoro♥, which Sekai Project will also be localising. The announcement came during Anime North, an anime convention in Toronto, Canada, via social media. Creature Romances: ~for the Ladies~ contains both romance and horror, and comes with the warning, ‘many disturbing, grotesque images and images of non-human creatures.’ So, ‘please be aware of this if you decide to buy this game.’ The otome game is currently fully translated, with engine and editing still in progress. No release date has yet been stated.

It certainly gives new meaning to the saying ‘don’t let the bed bugs bite!’ I am honestly not sure what to make of this… but at least the concept is original! More information has been given about Creature Romances: Kokonoe Kokoro♥, which features an insect-like girl and a human boy protagonist.

Ichitarou Ichinose is just an average, easy-going high schooler with an average life. He doesn’t know what his dreams for the future are. He doesn’t have any exceptional talents. What he does have is a meddlesome childhood friend. Her name is Kokoro Kokonoe. Ichitarou and Kokoro live out their daily lives as usual.

Until…

Will they live happily ever after or die without achieving even a fragment of their dreams?

I look forward to hearing more about these ‘grotesque’ horror games! I think…

Spread the love!
