Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice GOTY edition out now
Over a year after the game’s initial launch, From Software‘s Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has received a new GOTY update.
While it looks like Sekiro wont be getting a major DLC expansion like the Dark Souls games or Bloodborne, the update does at least bring a few welcome additions — and it’s free!
For starters, the Reflection and Gauntlet of Strength can be used to fight bosses freely. The former acts as a series of boss rushes, while the latter lets you choose a specific boss to fight.
Additionally, you can now also leave remnants for other players to find. Remnants are short gameplay clips, effectively acting as a combination of the messages and bloodstains from previous From Software games.
A small handful of new outfits have been added too, some of which requiring you to complete the new boss rush modes before they’re unlocked.
Check out the update’s trailer if you want a better look at some of the new content that’s been added.
