Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice revealed as new From Software title

E3 is upon us and the announcements are coming thick and fast. More specifically, Microsoft’s conference last night at 9pm BST was very heavy on the game announcements, boasting multiple world premieres and console exclusives. One of these was the announcement of From Software’s next title, which was teased previously, as being Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

Revealed as to be a project with Activision; Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is an action adventure game set in what appears to be a feudal Japan setting, directed by the now legendary Hidetaka Miyazaki. All of the things you would expect from a Miyazaki game are here so far: what looks to be giant, heavy-hitting bosses; engrossing and deep combat; and finally luscious, visceral visuals similar to those of Bloodborne.

All we know more than that is that it is due to come to PS4, XBox One, and PC in early 2019. Check out the reveal trailer below and keep an eye here on Rice Digital for more updates in the future about Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and other games too.
