The second single-player option, Paradise Mode, lets you enjoy comedic episodes focused on certain characters. V-Road Challenge is all about the action, letting you pick out your dream team to try four the Peach Beach Splash tournament’s four cups – the School Cup, the Bunny Cup, the Queen Cup, and the Venus Cup. Winning the cups will get you a bunch of different rewards.

For multiplayer, there’s Ranked Match – 5-a-side matches with randomly-chosen rules and setting where you battle it out to acquire the most Peach Points. There’s also Free Match, which lets you pick your own number of participants, rules, and stage. You can go set up password-protected friends-only battles in Free Match, and have the option to against CPU opponents too.

The multiplayer matches can be a standard Team Battle, where victory is determined by number of opponents defeated, and Momination, which sees you earn points by occupying towers. There’s also Co-Op Survival, where 5 players can team up to protect their tower from waves of enemies, earning more rewards for the longer you last.

For the locker room, you get the standard pose, expression, and costume co-ordination, but there’s now also a Water Gun Mode, which lets you splash the girls with a water gun, of course. Hand Mode has been updated too, with extra reactions from the girls and the ability to touch arms and thighs as well as boobs and butts.

Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash releases for PS4 in Japan on 16th March, with Asian and western releases also planned.
