September Nintendo Direct set for Friday

Another full length Nintendo Direct is on the way, with the company announcing that the next one is scheduled for September 12, 2025.

First revealed on the Nintendo Today app (because of course it was), this Direct will last for around 60 minutes. And, as you’d probably expect, it’ll include info on upcoming Switch and Switch 2 games.

With the Switch 2 being a few months old now, expect a number of reveals for Switch 2 versions of Switch titles, along with brand new ports. Nintendo should finally announce a release date for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, which currently still has a 2025 release window.
