Sharin no Kuni Localisation Kickstarter Project Gets a Relaunch

The Sharin no Kuni localisation project is getting a relaunch on Kickstarter! The new ‘Re: Sharin no Kuni Project’ campaign has a goal of $80,000, and has undergone a number of revisions and updates. The campaign can be accessed here.

 

 

Sharin no Kuni: The Girl Among the Sunflowers is a renowned visual novel full of twists and turns that are sure to pull at the heartstrings. Frontwing are working with AKABEi SOFT2 and Tokyo Otaku Mode to bring this much-loved visual novel west in an official localised version that’s faithful to the original. There is a huge amount of ways to get involved with supporting this project, all with their own excellent benefits.

In a dystopian society where those who break the law have special ‘Duties’ imposed upon them, Kenichi Morita must pass his final exam to become one of the Special Elite who oversee the rehabilitation of criminals. Along the way, he meets girls bound by these ‘Duties’, and makes some disturbing discoveries. Now he must search for his own atonement, and the truth about the strange society he lives in.


Sharin no Kuni
mixes intensity and intrigue with bittersweet romance for a unique and touching experience. The concept is so interesting, and it’s always great to see a bishoujo game that can really make you think as well as feel!
