Silent Hills TGS Trailer
Kojima recently revealed the Silent Hills TGS Trailer. Personally, I wasn’t that impressed as it seemed pretty slow and a bit uneventful, but I suppose you’ve got to adhere to certain restrictions when showcasing a horror game at a convention.
BUT THEN I started thinking…the first person view would lend itself to the Occulus Rift perfectly and suddenly I was overcome by how terrified I would be if this technology was used in this way.
Maybe Konami and Occulus should hook up and do a bundle pack: Occulus Rift, Silent Hills game, and a spare pair of trousers.
As a gamer, I'm driven mostly by the narrative of a game, but the artwork and sound-design can also have me captivated in a title. I don't limit myself to any genre: RPG, strategy, adventure and simulation being my favourites. I usually stick to playing mainstream releases but I have, on occasion, dipped my toes in the deep river of Indie titles.On top of this, I'm an avid Square Enix fan-boy - I even love their rubbish games.
