Social deduction RPG Gnosia to get anime adaption in 2025
Petit Depotto and Aniplex have revealed that an anime adaption of the social deduction RPG Gnosia is set to be released in Japan during 2025.
Currently, there isn’t much more info than that to go on. A brief teaser trailer and the official website both feature Setsu, a prominent character in the game who helps out the main character.
With how many unknowns there are at this time, it remains to be seen how certain elements of the game are going to work in this medium. Gnosia’s gimmick was that the player character is stuck in a timeloop, and must take on randomised roles each loop to try and figure out a way to escape. This could mean saving other humans from Gnosia — infected humans — or becoming one themselves.
For now, we’ll have to wait until 2025 for more information. No English release has been announced at this time, though the game itself did come to PC and Switch in the west via Playism. Check out our reviews of Gnosia if you want some idea of what to expect from the anime adaption.
