Sonic Mania Goes Physical With Sonic Mania Plus
Sega has announced that Sonic Mania will be dashing back to PS4, Xbox One and PC later this Summer with Sonic Mania Plus. Sega has heard fan’s pleas for a physical version of the game and now they’re delivering on that plus new characters, an art book and more.
You can get a look at what’s below on all three platforms, with each coming with a 32 page art book, a reversible cover (Mega Drive for EU, and Genesis for NA), and a physical version of the game complete with disc or cartridge and a holographic package. Two new characters, Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel, are on all versions.
Sonic Mania Plus releases this Summer on PS4, Switch and Xbox One.
I’ve been gaming since a very young age and although I can’t remember my very first game, I fondly remember enjoying Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and being giddy with joy once I beat Dr. Robotnik. My all-time favourite game is a tie between Persona 4 Golden and Final Fantasy IX. As you may have noticed, I have a love for JRPG’s although I dabble in all genres.
